Class 2 Driver

We are currently looking for Ad-Hoc Class 2 Drivers in the Preston area.
Responsibilities
Operate Class 2 HGV vehicles in compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Load and unload goods safely, ensuring proper securing of cargo for transport.
Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery schedules and minimise delays.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is safe and roadworthy.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
Experience
Class 2 License
