Class 2 HGV Drivers

£14.50 an hour

Stoke-on-Trent

We are looking for two Class 2 drivers that will be required to drive vehicles ranging from 7.5 tonne to 26 tonne using a variation of hand ball, tail lift and loading bays.

You will be delivering frozen and ambient food to the takeaways, restaurants and wholesalers, whilst maintaining a presentable appearance and good level of customer service.

Responsibilities

* Daily walk around checks

* Reporting any defect to the Transport Manager

* Delivering in a professional manner to our customers

* Collecting customer payments

* Maintaining the vehicles as well as its cleanliness

* Must have a good understanding of both EU and Domestic driving laws

Duties & Responsibilities: -

* A minimum of 6 months Class 2 experience required.

* A driving assessment may be required.

* No more than 6 points on licence.

Hours: -

* All day work

* Shifts immediately available

* Temporary to permanent positions available

Suitable applicants skills may include: Class 2, LGV2, HGV2, Tramping, Trunking, Handballing, Long-haul, Rigid, Curtain side, Car Transporter, Tilt Frame, Hiab, Frozen, Chilled
