Class 1 Driver

LV Logistics have an exciting opportunity for a Class 1 Driver to join the team! You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return will receive a competitive salary.
Salary:
£14.41 / hour basic, guaranteed 50 hours
£18.84 / Sundays and Bank Holidays, guaranteed minimum hours

Key responsibilities of our Class 1 Driver:
Collections and deliveries around the UK in one of our 44tonne artic vehicles
Follow specific job instructions and complete all the relevant paperwork
Conduct vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness - ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, and current Vehicle and Tachograph legislation
What we are looking for in our Class 1 Driver:
HGV Class 1 Licence
Full drivers CPC.
Previous experience not necessarily what we are looking for, we want the right person to join the team
Must be willing to ‘tramp' as some nights out required
To be able to work independently and as part of a team
Ambitious, organised and driven
