Job Description
Who will you be working with?
Work with one of the UK’s leading third-party logistics (3PL) providers, dedicated to delivering high-quality and efficient transport and logistics solutions. With a reputation for reliability and a commitment to safety, we are looking for professional and dedicated C+E Drivers to join our expanding team, offering a supportive environment, competitive rates, and consistent work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently transport goods across the UK, adhering to assigned routes and schedules.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, hours, and mileage.
- Communicate effectively with the logistics team regarding any issues or delays.
- Ensure all loads are properly secured and comply with industry standards and legal requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a positive company image at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid UK C+E Licence with minimal or no points.
- Up-to-date Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Experience in general haulage preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of UK road networks and compliance with driving regulations.
- Ability to work independently with excellent time management.
- Flexibility to work either day or night shifts, with occasional weekend availability as needed.
- > 18 Months experience
