Job Description CISCO Lead Engineer
Location: Stevenage (on-site)
Salary: £60,000 per annum
Security Clearance: Candidates must be eligible for SC clearance and must be a sole UK passport holder .
A leading technology services provider is seeking a skilled Cisco Lead Engineer to join their on-site team in Stevenage. This is a critical role focused on supporting and developing voice and video communication infrastructure across a global enterprise environment.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in VoIP systems, PBX platforms, and Cisco Unified Communication technologies , with a strong ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues in large-scale, distributed networks.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the lead engineer for Cisco UC and telephony infrastructure, handling Level 2/3 support and escalations.
Support and maintain Cisco UC platforms including CUCM, Unity Connection, Jabber, and Webex .
Troubleshoot and resolve call quality, signalling (SIP/H.323), and connectivity issues .
Collaborate with other operations teams to support project delivery and ensure platform stability.
