Child Protection - Team Manager

This role offers the opportunity to make a significant contribution to a team dedicated to protecting children. You will be working within a supportive and collaborative environment focused on positive outcomes.

Position description / Job description

  • Lead and manage a team of child protection professionals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve child protection services.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of child protection cases.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders to ensure effective child protection.
  • Provide supervision and training to team members.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of all child protection activities.
  • Advocate for the rights and well-being of children.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to child protection.

Requirements

We're looking for you, if:

  • You hold a BA, MA, DipSW or equivalent qualification.
  • You possess significant experience in child protection work.
  • You have excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • You demonstrate strong leadership qualities and the ability to motivate a team.
  • You are knowledgeable about relevant legislation and guidelines related to child protection.
  • You have experience in conducting thorough risk assessments and investigations.
  • You are proficient in using various software and systems to manage caseloads and documentation.
  • You are able to manage a high volume of complex cases while maintaining attention to detail.
