Freight Forwarding Operator
Location: Bradford (BD17)
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 (DOE)
Job Type: Full Time (Monday-Friday)
09:00 - 17:15
Office Based
My client are in search of an experienced Freight Forwarding Operator to join their operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end freight forwarding processes, liaising with carriers and clients, and ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate import and export shipments via air, sea, and road.
Handle full-cycle operations including booking, documentation, customs clearance, and invoicing.
Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, hauliers, and overseas agents.
Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations.
Provide excellent customer service and keep clients updated throughout the shipment process.
Resolve any operational issues or delays proactively.
Maintain accurate records in line with company procedures
