Cell Biology Technician

NES Fircroft is recruiting a Cell Biology Laboratory Technician to join a leading agricultural company dedicated to enhancing global food security. This role is based at our client's site in Bracknell on a 6 month contract.

As a Cell Biology Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for plant tissue Culture in the laboratory for plant breeding programs.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in laboratory plant tissue culture techniques
Experience with light microscopy, plant dissection, plant embryo culture, and flow cytometry
Strong aseptic technique and adherence to standard operating procedures
Ability to handle chemicals safely
Record-keeping skills for electronic laboratory data 
Qualifications and experience:

Scientific A levels or equivalent education
Understanding of health and safety in the laboratory environment
Laboratory experience including chemical handling and aseptic technique
Basic understanding of laboratory Health and Safety
Willingness to perform repetitive tasksTo Apply
