Role: H&S/ CDM ConsultantLocation: Cambridge & Surrounding region (remote working)Sector: CDM/ Principal Designer practice Salary: Up to £50,000 + attractive benefits packageWRG have partnered with an independent CDM/ Principal Designer consultancy who have ambitious growth plans for 2024 and into the future. They are looking to appoint an experienced H&S/ CDM Advisor to oversee their property & construction projects across Cambridge and the surrounding regions. The business operates across London & South East, working with a range of clients and delivering a H&S, CDM & PD services on projects from £300k up to £500m. They have developed an excellent reputation within the industry which has lead to repeat business and their brand growing from strength to strength. They are now looking for a H&S/ CDM Consultant to join the team in Cambridge, and manage a portfolio of projects in the residential, commercial, retail, office, leisure, hotel, industrial, manufacturing, sport and education sectors. The role would suit a client facing individual from a consultancy background who is looking to work more autonomously and reclaim their work life balance. Our client would also consider people from a Principal Contractor background with an excellent technical understanding of CDM 2015. Responsibilities: Offer a range of H&S/ CDM services to clients.Oversee the design risk register and attend design risk reviews, along with offering input in relation to safety in design.Ensure that pre-construction information is readily available for each project and is kept up to date.Sit in on design and client team meetings and offer advice around safety in design. Preparation of health and safety files and construction phase plans where required. Carry out site inspections and ensure that RAMS are in place for each project. Further build and develop existing client relationships and develop new ones. Requirements: NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable but not required).Membership to IOSH, APS, IIRSM or similar professional body.Excellent understanding of 2015 CDM Regulations. Good understanding of BSA and the changes affecting the industry. Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
