Caretaker

We’re looking for a reliable and hard-working Caretaker to join our clients estate services team on a temporary basis.
You’ll be responsible for delivering cleaning, minor repairs, and safety checks across communal areas, helping to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for residents.
Key Details:

• Rate: £14.71 PAYE (Umbrella TBC)
  
• Contract: Temporary
  
• DBS Required
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain communal spaces to agreed standards
  
• Perform minor repairs, safety inspections, and bin store checks
  
• Issue TORT notices and remove bulk waste as needed
  
• Liaise with internal teams and escalate estate issues promptly
  
• Ensure compliance with H&S, safeguarding and site protocols
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous caretaking or estate maintenance experience
  
• Knowledge of COSHH and health & safety standards
  
• Basic repair/DIY skills (desirable)
  
• Good communication and lone working confidence
  
• Comfortable using mobile devices for task logging and reporting
