Position: School Caretaker Salary: £24,000 - £24,700 per annum Location: Central Plymouth
About Us: One of our partner schools has a fantastic reputation for providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all students and this extends to the school's grounds. We are looking for a dedicated and calm individual to join their team as a School Caretaker. The perfect person could be someone with a trade who is eager to learn more within a variety of trades. Key Responsibilities:
General maintenance of school premises
Reporting to the Site Manager
Pressure washing
Painting and decorating
Gardening and grounds maintenance
Cleaning duties
Locking and securing the site
Supporting with end-of-lunch duties
Basic plumbing to support with small repairs (not essential)
Requirements:
Experience in a similar role is preferred
Basic understanding of plumbing
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
Calm and patient demeanour, especially when interacting with children with SEN
