Job Description Role: Caretaker/Maintenance Operative\nLocation: Milton Keynes\nHours: Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm\nSalary: £ 29,000\n\nOverview: This is hands on role, responsible for the day to day running, cleaning and maintenance of a site containing two residential buildings set in their own grounds.\n\nGeneral and Grounds Responsibilities:\n\n * To undertake each morning a visual inspection of the fabric of the building to identify any issues for resolution\n\n * Sweeping of the car park area and a litter pick of the grounds daily/as required\n\n * Some minimal general grounds maintenance will be required\n\n * A visual inspection of the interior common parts to identify any issues for resolution whether cleaning or decorative\n\n * To be responsible for the statutory tests for example the fire alarm system, emergency lighting and fire doors\n\n * Bin store management - movement of bins for collection\n\n * Preparation of flats for move ins\n\n * Dealing with tenants queries on a daily basis\n\n * Daily communication with the managing agent\n\nMaintenance Responsibilities:\n\n * To deal with general maintenance and decorative issues within the communal areas and flats\n\n * To complete minor repairs to appliances\...
