Job Title: Call Centre Agent

Location: Essex

Salary: £22,000 – £25,000



About the Role:

We are seeking a confident, reliable, and customer-focused Call Centre Agent to join our growing team in London. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, handling inbound and/or outbound calls to resolve queries, provide information, and ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:





  • Handle a high volume of inbound and/or outbound calls in a professional manner




  • Provide accurate information and support to customers regarding products or services




  • Resolve customer enquiries and complaints quickly and effectively




  • Log all calls and customer interactions accurately in the internal system




  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets including call quality and customer satisfaction




  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team or supervisor when necessary




  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and departments to improve customer service delivery




  • Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements





Requirements:





  • Previous experience in a call centre or customer service environment is preferred




  • Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills




  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure




  • Good IT skills and the ability to navigate multiple systems




  • Positive attitude and a strong work ethic




  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team




  • Flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends (if applicable)
