Cable Technician

Job Description TEXO Recruitment is seeking an experienced Cable Extrusion Operator on behalf our external client located in Dundee. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company specialising in high-quality cable manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor extrusion machinery to produce specialist cables.
Prepare raw materials (e.g., copper, fibre, polymer compounds).
Perform routine maintenance and equipment cleaning.
Conduct quality checks to ensure product standards.
Follow technical drawings and production instructions.
Record production data and report any adjustments made.
Communicate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Support process improvements and efficiency initiatives.

Requirements
Experience in cable manufacturing or polymer extrusion.
Skilled in operating extrusion equipment.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to read technical drawings and instructions.
Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
Flexible with shift work.
