Key responsibilities as a Buyer:

Supporting the procurement of electronic components and materials
Raising and managing purchase orders in line with production needs
Liaising with suppliers to track deliveries and resolve any issues
Assisting with sourcing, cost comparisons, and supplier negotiations
Maintaining accurate data on ERP/MRP systems
Collaborating closely with engineering, production, and stores teamsPersonal Attributes

A keen interest in procurement and supply chain
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good attention to detail and a proactive attitude
Familiarity with electronics/components
Experience with MRP/ERP systemsExperience:

Individuals with 1–2 years of buying or admin experience in a manufacturing environment
