Buyer/Senior Buyer

ACR are working with a successful House Builder located in Cambridge who are looking for either a Buyer or Senior Buyer to join the team.

Duties include:

* Preparing material tenders for project(s).

* Managing supplier accounts to include raising payments, reviewing and assessing price increases and preparing and settling final accounts.

* Reviewing and procuring material requests where appropriate.

* Carry out detailed package review meetings & drive value engineering opportunities of design & scope information.

* Financial accountability for the material budget of project

* Identifying & establishing appropriate products to increase efficiency of the business.

* Attend design team meetings and reviewing drawing changes.

* Implementation of buying function in line with the Commercial Policies & Procedures Manual.

* Producing valuation reports to advise of any cost movements and reporting to the Board of Directors on a quarterly basis.

The ideal candidate must have previous house building and COINS experience.
