We're working with a well-established residential developer based in Ipswich who is looking to strengthen their commercial team with the addition of a Buyer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company known for delivering high-quality homes and investing in its people.

Responsibilities:

Sourcing and ordering materials in line with project timelines and budgets

Negotiating with suppliers and building long-term relationships

Managing procurement schedules and maintaining accurate records

Working collaboratively with site and commercial teams

Ensuring materials meet quality and specification standards

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Buyer within a housebuilding or construction environment

*

Strong negotiation and communication skills

*

Organised, detail-oriented, and commercially aware

*

Knowledge of regional suppliers and market rates is a bonus

*

A team player with the ability to work independently when needed

Salary and Package:

*

Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 depending on experience

*
