Today, Grant’s Foods maintains its dedication to crafting top-quality food using fresh produce at its core.Responsibilities of the job include:Overseeing Butchery department and ensuring that all paperwork is present and correct.Creating and execute daily, weekly, monthly and annual downtime reportsIdentifying any faulty factory production equipment for procurement and taking responsibility for its maintenanceStriving to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product linesMaintaining hygienic conditions for both employees and the factory itselfImplementing all the company’s procedures and policiesCommunicating any problems or obstacles to senior managementMonitoring productivity rates, standards and quality controlTraining and coaching Butchery department team membersImplementing safety, health, environment and quality requirementsLiaising with Planner on forward production schedulesAssessing resource requirementsRe-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessaryLiaising with Buyer and marketing and sales staffOrganising relevant training sessions.Maintaining track of all stock- and ensuring adequate stock rotation.confidencetechnical skillsorganisation and efficiencyleadership and interpersonal skillsIT and numerical skillsCandidates should have a good knowledge of working with Raw Meat, and will have a proven track record of successfully managing a team to achieve all KPI’s required in a timely manner.
