Business Support Officer - Commissioning and Contracts Team.
Working Basis: Onsite for 1 month for training, to move to Hybrid basis, 2 days onsite per week.
Location: Haylock House, Kettering, NN15, 6YE.
Woking Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, with 30 minutes unpaid break.
Rate of Pay: £13.69 per hour PAYE.
Duration: 3-month, temporary assignment with potential to extend.

About the Role
Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our Client, North Northamptonshire Council, for a Business Support Officer to join the Commissioning and Contracts Team on a temporary basis. The purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to the Commissioning and Contracts Team within the Adults Social Care department.

Duties:

Maintain an accurate database with information provided by the accountable workers on relevant customers of Adult Social Care.
Maintaining and supporting any systems that are in place, including IT, filing and electronic storage systems, that may be in use to ensure effective delivery of services.
Act as first point of contact for telephone and email queries.
Providing an efficient and confidential administrative service, including use of all electronic applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases, Outlook etc, to enable the team to deliver services efficiently.
Supporting the assessment and review of customers by ensuring all requested assessments and reviews are received on time.
Processing general financial claims and payments in accordance with NNC regulations and guidelines.
Essential Experience:

Previous experience in administrative roles is essential.
Previous experience in Contract roles is beneficial.
Previous experience working within the Adult Social Care sector is beneficial.
Good IT skills are essential with experience of using Microsoft Applications such as Outlook, Teams, Excel and Word.
Confidence and strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external customers via verbal and electronic communication.
Strong organisational, multitasking and prioritising skills to manage workloads.
Keen eye for attention to detail with initiative to investigate any discrepancies.
