Business Development Manager Contractor

Business Development Manager Role
You’ll be the driving force behind new client acquisition and project opportunities. Working closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders, you’ll help position the company as a go-to provider for fit-out and fire protection services.
Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

Identify and secure new business opportunities across the fit-out and passive fire protection sectors
*
Build and manage relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and developers
*
Lead client meetings, pitch proposals, and support bid/tender submissions
*
Maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools, providing accurate forecasting
*
Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and industry functions
*
Collaborate with estimating and delivery teams to ensure seamless project handovers
*
Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and competitive activity
Business Development Manager Candidate Profile:
*
Proven track record in business development within the construction sector
*
Knowledge of fit-out, interiors, and/or passive fire systems is highly desirable
*
Established network of relevant industry contacts
*
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
*
Self-starter with a strategic and target-driven mindset
*
UK driving licence and flexibility to travel
