Inspire Resourcing are currently recruiting a Business Development Manager on behalf of our client in Chesterfield.

Main Duties:

* Developing and monitoring a network of dealerships for products in the UK

* Ensuring the network of dealers are sufficiently trained to optimise future sales. Product demonstrations will also form part of this training.

* You will be required to draw up annual sales forecasts informed by their observations of the market and trends.

* You will be responsible for drawing up monthly and quarterly forecasts for each customer split by each type of product

* Coordinate activities between all departments including sales, service and parts. Also making sure that there is good communication between international sites

* Using marketing tools, primarily sales promotion and advertising (optimising the sales documentation, planning and holding regional trade fairs, demonstrations, creating construction site reports, photo stories, etc.).

* Maintaining and developing the customer database with relevant market data including contact de-tails, fleet details etc.

* Transmission to management of technical, economic, and commercial information on any relevant competitor information encountered during his duties.

* Communicating market requirements to sales management and to the line departments responsible.

* Helping to manage relationships between customers / distributors and take responsibility for resolving conflict

Requirements:

* Business Development experience in manufacturing, engineering or construction is desirable

* Advantage to those who have previous experience selling to or building a network of dealers and merchants

£40k basic
