Business Development Executive – £35,000 to £40,000 Basic + Bonus + Profit Share
Realistic OTE: £50,000+
Location: Chichester (Primarily Office-Based)

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a well-established and fast-growing contractor operating across the residential, commercial, and infrastructure landscaping sector. We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Executive to play a key role in their sales growth strategy from their Chichester office.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building business relationships, spotting opportunities within construction projects, and playing a vital part in securing high-value contracts — often £250,000 and above.

The company offers a collaborative and supportive office-based environment, with realistic earnings exceeding £50,000 thanks to a strong basic salary, performance-based bonus, and profit share scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

* Proactively research and engage with key contacts across construction projects (site managers, QSs, commercial leads)

* Generate qualified leads and quoting opportunities through outbound calls and email outreach

* Build and nurture a pipeline of prospects across residential developments, commercial builds, and highway/infrastructure projects

* Book appointments for field-based Business Development Managers to convert and close

* Support the quoting and follow-up process, ensuring maximum conversion from enquiry to secured contract

* Keep accurate records using CRM systems and collaborate with the estimating team

Requirements

Ideal Candidate:

* Confident, professional communicator – especially on the phone (training provided)

* Highly organised with an eye for detail and process

* Familiar with CRM tools and MS Office (Excel in particular)

* Motivated by targets and financial reward

* Background in construction-related industries or B2B lead generation advantageous
