Business Data Analyst

In this role you will be working very closely with indirect tax compliance customers and technology teams. You will be driving projects to improve current processes, support existing data operations dashboards and maintain the solutions that underpin the reporting for indirect tax.As a data analyst, you will be expected to have strong data management, query technical skills, understand the data to support indirect tax compliance teams across the globe. You will be expected to plan project and coordinate teams to ensure the projects are delivered successfully.Key job responsibilities• Support indirect tax colleagues with data requests, data questions and/or extracting data on their behalf, where standard reports do not meet the requirements.• Improve existing processes by automating and reducing manual work.• Collaborate with our technology partners to investigate issues in the tax data pipelines.• Hands-on detailed data research and analysis of a large financial data set; investigate, troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues.• Implement projects to optimize data operations.• Work with our key technology providers to support technology upgrades, migrations, etc.• Create and maintain QuickSight dashboards used by tax compliance.About the teamTax Data Management Solutions team’s vision is to provide data stability, reliability and innovative automation through proven practices in data management standards.
