Marc Daniels Recruitment are urgently recruiting for a Business Analyst to join a household name company's financial services department based in Bracknell for a 6-month contract. This role offers exposure to a well-known company and comes with a generous day rate.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for information gathering, analysis and business requirements definition for their processes.
- Elicit requirements using appropriate methods such as interviews or workshops.
- Documentation of key Change Management deliverables such as Project plans, Business Case, User stories, BPMN.
- Responsible for managing and progressing changes assigned from elicitation through to implementation.
- Participate in Change Management including raising Change Requests, liaising with external suppliers, assisting with test and release planning.
- Identify and complete configuration Change Requests.
- Be the liaison between business users, external suppliers and technical support teams.
- Understand and document process flows within the business in order to identify potential efficiencies and suggest improvements, challenging business users where appropriate.
- Assist in the creation and management of test plans which align with business requirements along with the Production Support & Test Manager.
- Carry out functional testing and assist with UAT in conjunction with the business teams.
- Defect management including analysis and raising of faults, prioritisation, liaison with external suppliers, test and release planning, and updating internal tool.
- Report and raise risks and issues in a timely way.
- Regular reporting on Change Requests using appropriate tools and repots such as Jira x-ray, Visio.
Requirements:
- A good understanding of Business analysis methodologies, tools and techniques
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills and experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders at different levels.
- Ability to explain technical issues in a concise and non-technical manner to business users.
- Self-motivated with good organisational and planning skills, can be relied upon to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and ensure objectives are achieved within agreed timescales.
- Agile methodologies or BCS accreditation desirable
