About The Role:
As a Building Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in delivering a wide range of professional and project-based services. From defect diagnosis and technical due diligence to contract administration and refurbishment projects, this role offers variety, autonomy, and clear progression in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out building surveys, schedules of condition, and defect analysis
* Prepare specifications and manage refurbishment and maintenance projects
* Administer contracts and monitor works on site
* Deliver professional advice including dilapidations, party wall, and pre-acquisition surveys
* Liaise confidently with clients, contractors, and consultants
* Support junior team members and contribute to business development activities
Requirements
* Degree-qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline
* Ideally MRICS (or working towards chartership)
* 2–5 years’ experience in a consultancy or client-side role
* Strong technical knowledge and report writing skills
* Organised, professional, and confident working both independently and as part of a team
* A client-focused mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach
* Full UK driving licence
