We are currently seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join our well-established, nationally recognised building surveying consultancy. The Role:
As a Building Surveyor, you will be involved in a wide range of surveying activities, working with both private and commercial clients. A key focus of the role will be the delivery of Reinstatement Cost Assessments (RCAs), ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Undertake Reinstatement Cost Assessments for a variety of building types.
*
Conduct building surveys, condition reports, and defect analysis.
*
Prepare and present technical reports and documentation.
*
Advise clients on property maintenance, refurbishment, and development.
*
Liaise with stakeholders including property owners, developers, and insurers.
*
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and health & safety standards.
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Building Surveyor, ideally within a consultancy setting.
*
Demonstrable expertise in Reinstatement Cost Assessments is essential.
*
MRICS or working towards RICS chartership (preferred but not essential).
*
Strong knowledge of building pathology, construction methods, and relevant legislation.
*
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
