My client is currently seeking to expand its team by recruiting building surveyors, reflecting its ongoing growth and strong pipeline of work.
About the Role
The candidate will play a crucial role in the construction and property industries, ensuring buildings are safe, functional, and compliant with regulations. Their responsibilities include:
* Conducting Surveys – Assessing the condition of buildings, identifying defects, and recommending repairs or improvements.
* Project Management – Overseeing construction, renovation, and maintenance projects to ensure they meet quality, budget, and time requirements.
* Legal & Regulatory Compliance – Ensuring buildings adhere to local planning laws, building codes, and health & safety regulations.
* Dilapidation Reports – Evaluating leasehold properties to determine repair obligations between landlords and tenants.
* Historic & Listed Buildings – Advising on conservation and restoration of heritage properties.
Building Surveyors work across residential, commercial, and public sectors, collaborating with architects, engineers, and property owners to maintain and improve the built environment.
About the Requirements
Strong experience as a Building Surveyor. Ideally a degree or professional qualification (MRICS).
About the salary:
Salaries would be dependent on experience, but we are considering £55,000. Other Benefits will be discussed at the interview
