If you’re looking for a hands-on Bookkeeper role where you can take ownership, get stuck in and be part of something meaningful, this could be the one for you. You’ll be the go-to person for day-to-day bookkeeping across a group of small but growing businesses. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll keep the numbers in check, help with reporting and play a key role in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. This is your chance to grow your skills, get involved in new projects, and shape how things are done as the team expands. Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for: Daily bookkeeping and reporting using Xero
Processing accounts payable and receivable
Preparing and submitting monthly VAT returns
Performing month-end duties, including accruals, prepayments and journal posting
Revenue deferrals and cost accruals using Excel
Supporting office admin and operational tasks
What you will need: Previous experience in a similar role, such as Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant / Accountant / Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant
Studying or qualified AAT 2 or higher
A can-do attitude with a friendly approach
A logical and methodical mindset
Strong Excel skills, ideally VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
