Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time Bookkeeper to support our Risca branch. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with our three qualified accountants and other staff to ensure accurate financial records and effective bookkeeping practises.
Key Responsibilities:
� Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
� Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
� Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial reports.
� Assist with the implementation of Making Tax Digital and select suitable software (Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero) for our operations.
� Support year-end financial audits and tax preparation as required.
� Provide exceptional service to clients and address any bookkeeping inquiries promptly.
Qualifications:
� Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within the accounting industry.
� Proficiency in accounting software, with experience in Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero.
� Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practises.
� Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
� Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
� Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Working Hours:
� Full-Time position: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with an early finish at 2:30 PM on Fridays.
