Bookkeeper

Portfolio Payroll is collaborating with a well-established accountancy practice to recruit a Bookkeeper on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounts and finance to join a respected organisation who is rewarding and supportive. Our client is open for candidates who are also looking for a part-time or school hours position.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with bookkeeping tasks and maintaining accurate financial records
Accounts Payable and receivable
Bank reconciliation
VAT Return, budget, cash flow, receipts
Provide regular financial reports (weekly, monthly and yearly)

Desirable skills and attributes:

Previous experience in client payroll (Bureau/ Practice)
Proficient using Excel and Sage Payroll
Confident Communicator
Good eye for detail, and can work with precision
Ability to work to tight deadlines, in a fast-paced environment
Able to work independently and collaboratively

Salary Up to £28,000 and could flex depending on experience
