Search Consultancy are supporting an established business in Malton who are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Bookkeeper to oversee the all the finance and accountancy for the business. l
Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Reporting:
Manage all accounting operations including A/P, A/R, payroll, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.

Financial Planning & Analysis:
Develop budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning tools in collaboration with leadership.

Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.

Audit & Compliance:
Maintain clean, audit-ready books.

Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and regulators as needed.

Team & Collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial integration and visibility.

To be considered for this role you will have:
Experience in accounting or finance; experience in transitioning from outsourced to in-house finance a strong plus.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, systems implementation, and financial reporting.
