BIM Modeller

Sphere Solutions are currently looking for a BIM Modeller for a large and well known main contractor in Cardiff, initially working on a major, high profile building project in the city. Reporting to the Regional BIM Manager, your roles and responsibilities will include:Support the BIM Manager and Information Manager on the day-to-day BIM modeling and coordination tasks.Responsible for the day-to day maintenance and development of federated cloud base Revit model using ACC.Time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.Manage and coordinate BIM standards development, implementation, and quality on all related files and models.Provide CAD drafting/BIM modeling support.Develop BIM plans and understand the scope of work for subcontractors.Demonstrate a strong understanding of constructions workflow processes and priorities (knowledge of ISO 19650-1 and 2).Ability to manage multiple ongoing and complex design disciplines (architecture, structure and M&E) while being able to successfully meet the requirements.Troubleshoot any BIM related issues.Contribute to the documentation, dissemination and monitoring of standards, best practices, and industry advancements.Keen attention to detail.Based permanently in their Cardiff office, and working exclusively on this major project, you will be a very key part of the project team.
