BIM Coordinator

Are you a BIM Coordinator with strong Revit and AutoCAD skills? Would you like to play a key role in a business that’s investing in its technical design capability and values innovation in the drylining and ceilings sector?

Our client is a forward-thinking subcontractor in the construction industry, leading the way on in-house technical design and 3D modelling. Unlike others in the drylining space, they are embracing BIM modelling and expanding their internal design team to keep everything in-house.

This is a great opportunity for a BIM Coordinator to join an ambitious team, learn from an experienced Design Manager, and quickly progress to become a Design Manager yourself within 2 years.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the design and delivery of drylining and ceilings projects using Revit and AutoCAD.

* Collaborate with the Design Manager and existing BIM Coordinator on live projects.

* Lead your own projects both technically (2D detailing) and in 3D (BIM Model management).

* Coordinate clash detection using Navisworks and resolve design integration issues.

* Produce Stage 5 technical drawings ready for construction.

* Maintain and update BIM models including family component editing and integration with other trades.

* Work 2–3 days per week on site, with flexible work-from-home arrangements.

Experience & Skills Required for BIM Coordinator:

* Strong Revit skills including family creation/editing and scheduling.

* Proficient in AutoCAD (drafting, sheet management, PDF extraction/editing).

* Experience using Navisworks for BIM clash detection and resolution.

* Ability to produce detailed 2D technical drawings at Stage 5 or above.

* Background in drylining, ceilings, or similar transferable construction fields preferred.

* Clear communication skills and ability to work within a collaborative design team.

What You’ll Need for Your Application:

* Examples of 2D Technical Construction Drawings (Stage 5 or above).

* Revit Models showcasing clash detection, integration, schedules, and family models.

* A general design portfolio demonstrating your range and capability.

What’s in It for You?

* Flexible hybrid working 2–3 days on site, remainder from home.

* Structured development path to become a Design Manager within 2 years.

* Collaborative environment with access to an experienced Design Manager for mentoring and support.

* Work on cutting-edge projects where design and modelling are genuinely valued.

* Join a growing internal design team in a business that’s investing in innovation.
