BIM Coordinator

Our client is a forward-thinking subcontractor in the construction industry, leading the way on in-house technical design and 3D modelling. Unlike others in the drylining space, they are embracing BIM modelling and expanding their internal design team to keep everything in-house.
This is a great opportunity for a BIM Coordinator to join an ambitious team, learn from an experienced Design Manager, and quickly progress to become a Design Manager yourself within 2 years.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the design and delivery of drylining and ceilings projects using Revit and AutoCAD.
* Collaborate with the Design Manager and existing BIM Coordinator on live projects.
* Lead your own projects both technically (2D detailing) and in 3D (BIM Model management).
* Coordinate clash detection using Navisworks and resolve design integration issues.
* Produce Stage 5 technical drawings ready for construction.
* Maintain and update BIM models including family component editing and integration with other trades.
* Work 2–3 days per week on site, with flexible work-from-home arrangements.
Experience & Skills Required for BIM Coordinator:
* Strong Revit skills including family creation/editing and scheduling.
* Proficient in AutoCAD (drafting, sheet management, PDF extraction/editing).
* Experience using Navisworks for BIM clash detection and resolution.
* Ability to produce detailed 2D technical drawings at Stage 5 or above.
* Background in drylining, ceilings, or similar transferable construction fields preferred.
* Clear communication skills and ability to work within a collaborative design team.
