We are seeking to appoint a Bid Writer to join a growing Business Development team, working within a group of Engineering businesses that deliver high-value projects across the UK.
Due to sustained business growth, this role is key in supporting the company’s tendering activities across a wide range of sectors. It would suit someone with experience writing bids for Utilities, Engineering, Construction, or Public sector contracts, and who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
This position will be based at Head Office in Chandlers Ford, with flexibility for occasional work from other regional offices.
About the Role
As a Bid Writer, you’ll play a key role in producing high-quality, tailored content across the PQQ and ITT stages, ensuring all responses align with scoring criteria and meet the expectations of public and private sector clients.
Working closely with the Tender Manager, you’ll collaborate with subject matter experts across the business, utilise existing bid collateral, and develop new responses where required.
This role has two key phases
* When in tender: You will be responsible for reviewing allocated tender questions, assessing whether existing responses can be tailored, or gathering new content from relevant departments. You’ll drive each tender response alongside the Tender Manager, ensuring clarity, compliance, and a compelling case for the client....
