Our client is a well established construction business based in Manchester and Yorkshire delivering high-quality student accommodation, contemporary residential apartments, and high end hotels across the North West and Yorkshire. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional design.

The Opportunity:
They are seeking a proactive and experienced Bid Manager to lead and manage the end-to-end bid process across our development pipeline. Working closely with the Business Development, Design, Commercial, and Delivery teams, you will play a key role in securing new opportunities and supporting our ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of high-quality bids and tender responses for development and construction opportunities.

* Manage bid timelines, ensuring all contributions are delivered accurately and on time.

* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to gather technical, financial, and strategic content.

* Write and edit bid content, ensuring it is persuasive, compliant, and aligned with company objectives.

* Oversee the bid library, ensuring all content is up to date and reusable.

* Conduct post-bid reviews and support negotiation and handover to project teams.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in bid or proposals management within property development, construction, or real estate sectors.

* Knowledge of student accommodation, residential or hospitality markets preferred.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

* Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

* Proficient in MS Office; InDesign experience a plus.

* A collaborative mindset and the confidence to lead cross-functional teams.
