Are you passionate about supporting young people to overcome behavioural barriers and thrive in education? Do you have the patience, resilience, and confidence to make a real impact? We are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Specialist to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Newham this September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key member of a supportive pastoral team that is committed to inclusion and student success. The school serves a diverse and vibrant community and places a strong emphasis on emotional well-being, behaviour management, and positive relationships. You will work closely with students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, helping them to stay on track both academically and personally.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting students with behavioural and emotional needs in and out of the classroom
• De-escalating challenging behaviour and promoting positive conduct
• Developing personalised support plans and working closely with the SEN and pastoral teams
• Building trusted relationships with students, staff, and families
• Contributing to a positive and respectful school culture

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience supporting children or young people with behavioural needs
• Calm, confident, and consistent in your approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine desire to help students achieve their full potential
• Knowledge of restorative practices or SEMH support is a strong advantage
