Job Description Behaviour and Autism Support Assistant\n\nLocation: Leeds\n\nStart Date: ASAP\n\nJob Type: Temporary to Permanent\n\nHours: 8.30am - 3.30pm - Full time\n\nThe Role:\n\nAs a Behaviour and Autism Support Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students with autism and behavioural needs. You will work 1:1 with students both inside the classroom and across the school setting, helping them to access the curriculum, develop social skills, and manage their behaviour effectively.\n\nYou will work alongside other support staff, teachers, the behaviour support team and Senior Leadership to help maintain and assist in providing a fun, creative, safe and inclusive learning environment for all learners.\n\nThe School and Responsibilities:\n\nThe school has multiple sites catering for various needs, abilities and age groups around the Leeds area. It is an outstanding school who support children from 2 to 19 years old, with a range of learning, physical, complex, communication and behavioural needs.
