ABOUT THE VENUE
Peppermint Events are excited to offer a new opportunity at their brand-new F&B Venue, Riverside East in Queen Elizabeth Park, London. Based in the heart of the iconic Olympic Park this venue will be re imagined to become a multi functioning destination F&B space, comprising of the large outside courtyard area which will host a range of events from fan zones to Sunday markets all year round with innovation such as self-service Beer Taps as well as a wide range of entertainment.
Join our team at Riverside East to provide exceptional beverage experiences. We’re seeking seasoned professional’s to lead a dynamic team within our venue
. Your responsibilities will include managing staff, maintaining inventory levels, ensuring excellent customer service, and upholding safety and hygiene standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of beverage operations, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.
You will report directly to the AGM, and during your shift you must fulfill your role and ensure you are presenting a positive image of the venue.

Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
Provide effective leadership, cultivating a positive team environment to ensure the highest standards of service.
Operational Excellence:
Maintaining a high standards of bar operations, optimizing efficiency and providing incredible service.
Customer Experience:
Focusing on customer experience by promptly addressing concerns and upholding service excellence whilst representing the Peppermint.
Inventory and Stock Management:
Implement stock monitoring and coordination with Cellar Managers and Runners for efficient deliveries.
Manage and control minimizing stock waste, contributing to cost-effectiveness.
Quality Assurance and Training:
Uphold our Peppermint standards of beverage quality and presentation.
Conducting comprehensive training with all bar staff to enhance team capabilities and ensure consistency.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
You will be expected to ensure all bar staff are adhering to Challenge 25 throughout there shift.
Bars Responsibilities:
Strategically oversee stock levels, staffing levels and organisation during shift to optimize operational efficiency.
Train and lead a team of staff to ensure a cohesive and high-performing bar
Communication:
Maintain transparent and effective communication with the venue team and senior managers
Qualifications:
-Previous experience as a Bar Manager, Assistant Manager or history of working in hospitality, preferably in an event/stadium/festival setting
-Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
-Knowledge of beverage operations, inventory control, and quality assurance.
-Personal Licence’s are not essential, however they are preferred

● Someone who has a love for all things drink, whether your passion be for craft beer, cocktails or artisan spirits
● Extensive knowledge of beers, wines, spirits & classic cocktails.
● Experience working in a fast-paced environment
● Can work well under pressure
