Key Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer:
Develop and implement manufacturing processes for automotive components, emphasising efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Work across all areas of the team as well as within your own functional team to deliver all program aspects from inception to production.
Scope, specify and deliver the best operational practices in alignment with brand expectations.
Achieve all project milestones and support in the delivery of all program objectives.
Develop detailed project plans and timelines for the restoration process.
Analyse and enhance existing production processes for cost reduction and increased productivity.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely procurement of materials and parts.
Collaborate with quality control teams to implement checks and inspections at various production stages.
Provide content support for prototype build phases on new vehicle programs including support to Virtual Build and Manpower Planning activities.
