Audit Manager

I am delighted to be working with a reputable and growing accountancy practice who are looking to hire an Audit Manager to join their team on a hybrid basis in their Reading offices. The focus is on audits for corporate clients, including international groups, listed companies, and UK-based businesses.
Duties:
Leading audits from planning through to completion, delivering work within agreed budgets and timelines.
Acting as the main point of contact during on-site fieldwork and handling follow-up queries.
Managing and supervising junior staff, reviewing their work, and providing coaching/training where appropriate.
Reviewing statutory accounts prepared from client management figures.
Investigating technical issues and offering solutions in consultation with senior leadership.
Monitoring job progress, WIP, and billing for your portfolio.
Identifying opportunities to introduce clients to other services across the firm.
Involvement in group audits and liaising with component auditors where required.
The successful candidate will be:
ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified.
Experienced in managing audit assignments for corporate clients and group structures.
Comfortable supervising teams and supporting the development of junior staff.
Strong on audit risk, controls, and reporting frameworks.
