Audit Manager- County Meath Accountancy Practice

Working closely with Audit Partners, the successful candidate will manage a broad portfolio of audit and audit-exempt engagements, while leading a forward-thinking team of finance professionals.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Service- Oversee and manage the delivery of high-quality client service across all engagements
- Lead a diverse portfolio of audit and audit-exempt assignments
- Collaborate across departments to ensure consistent client satisfaction
- Identify and proactively address client concerns and issues
Risk Management- Conduct comprehensive audit file reviews
- Manage audit risk and ensure compliance with relevant standards
- Prepare files for Partner review
Team Leadership & Talent Development- Lead and mentor a team of trainee accountants
- Foster team development and promote a cohesive work culture
- Deliver technical training and support within the audit team
- Approve and review timesheets and staff time allocations
- Monitor and manage work-in-progress (WIP) monthly
Candidate Requirements- Qualified accountant with 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience in an audit role
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing and financial reporting standards
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure
- Understanding of risk and compliance within audit functions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in the SME sector is highly desirable
