Audit Manager- County Meath Accountancy Practice
 
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant with practice experience to join a dynamic and growing firm. Working closely with Audit Partners, the successful candidate will manage a broad portfolio of audit and audit-exempt engagements, while leading a forward-thinking team of finance professionals.

Key Responsibilities
Client Service
  • Oversee and manage the delivery of high-quality client service across all engagements
  • Lead a diverse portfolio of audit and audit-exempt assignments
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure consistent client satisfaction
  • Identify and proactively address client concerns and issues
Risk Management
  • Conduct comprehensive audit file reviews
  • Manage audit risk and ensure compliance with relevant standards
  • Prepare files for Partner review
Team Leadership & Talent Development
  • Lead and mentor a team of trainee accountants
  • Foster team development and promote a cohesive work culture
  • Deliver technical training and support within the audit team
  • Approve and review timesheets and staff time allocations
  • Monitor and manage work-in-progress (WIP) monthly
 
Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified accountant with 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience in an audit role
  • Strong technical knowledge of auditing and financial reporting standards
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure
  • Understanding of risk and compliance within audit functions
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in the SME sector is highly desirable
