I’m recruiting on behalf of a top 20 accountancy firm with a strong reputation for high-quality audit work and a supportive, down-to-earth team culture. Based in Reading, they’re now looking to bring an Audit Semi-Senior on board to support continued growth.

What you’ll be doing
* Supporting audit assignments from planning through to completion
* Identifying key risks and carrying out fieldwork and testing
* Preparing statutory accounts and performing analytical reviews
* Liaising with clients and building trusted relationships
* Keeping managers updated on progress and helping ensure deadlines are met
You’ll be working with a diverse portfolio of privately owned businesses, gaining practical experience and responsibility as you move through your qualification.
What our client is looking for
* ACA or ACCA part-qualified (years 1–3 of training contract ideal)
* Experience working in a UK practice environment
* Solid foundation in audit and account preparation
* Comfortable with analytical reviews and audit testing
* Clear communicator with strong attention to detail
