Associate Tutor - Functional Skills

We are now looking for a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to join our team and deliver high-quality, impactful teaching in Maths, English, and ICT.

We expect you to:

Plan and deliver engaging Functional Skills sessions (Entry Level to Level 2).

*

Support learners in improving core skills as part of their study programmes.

*

Set personalised targets, monitor progress, and ensure timely achievement.

*

Use innovative strategies to overcome learning barriers and meet diverse needs.

*

Maintain high standards in line with Ofsted and funding requirements.

Knowledge ans Skills:

*

Teaching qualification (PTLLS/AET or above) + Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA or equivalent).

*

Experience delivering Functional Skills onlline or classroom settings.

*

Passion for supporting learners to develop confidence, independence, and employability.

*

Strong organisational and communication skills.

*

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital learning tools.
