Hours: 8am-5pm Monday- Friday (willingness to offer some flexibility around working hours where required)
Immediate start for the right individual
You must have a full driving licence
Do you have proven experience in a warehouse supervisory/ management role or similar, do you have a Forklift licence either counterbalance or reach truck (desirable but not essential)
This company are a leading manufacturers within their industry in the UK, they are looking for an experienced Assistant Warehouse Manager within their head office.
This role will require you to work as part of a small team and play a pivotal role in the management of the warehouse. This will include...
- Ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and distributed correctly
- Lead and motivate team members
- Receiving deliveries, stock takes, replenishment's, picking, checking orders, loading and dispatch
- Conduct forklift and warehouse inspections to maintain a safe working environment and much more
This is an energetic role, you must be able to develop warehouse operatives, build confidence and improve performance, along with having strong communication and customer skills, plus strong IT skills.
