Assistant Site Manager - Healthcare Projects - Wolverhampton

We're partnering with a well-respected regional main contractor in Wolverhampton to recruit an enthusiastic Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of vital healthcare projects across the region. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and growing business with a strong pipeline of work, specifically focusing on projects within hospital environments.

Working closely with the Site Manager, you'll play a crucial role in the day-to-day management of construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards. This will involve:

Assisting with the planning and programming of works.
Supervising subcontractors and direct labour.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitoring progress and reporting to the Site Manager.
Maintaining quality control procedures.
Managing site logistics and materials.
Contributing to site meetings and resolving any issues that arise.To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

Previous experience in a site-based role within the construction industry.
A relevant construction qualification (e.g., NVQ, HNC/HND, Degree).
A valid CSCS card.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
A proactive and problem-solving approach.
Experience working on healthcare projects would be advantageous but isn't essential.In return, our client offers a competitive salary in the region of £30,000 - £45,000 per annum, plus a comprehensive package.
