Assistant Site Manager

We're currently looking for an Assistant Site Manager to be present on site to oversee an external rendering project across two buildings in Greenock, starting 2nd June for a duration of 8 weeks.

🛠 Role Overview
As Assistant Site Manager, you'll work closely with the Site Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, ensure health and safety compliance, manage trades on site, and help drive the project to successful, on-time completion.

📍 Location: Greenock, Scotland
📅 Start Date: 2nd June 2025
🕒 Duration: 8 weeks
💷 Rate: £22 per hour (CIS or PAYE negotiable)

✅ Key Responsibilities

Support daily site activities, including coordination of trades and materials

Maintain site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with all regulations

Communicate progress and issues to the Site Manager

Assist with scheduling and inspections

🔍 What We're Looking For

Proven experience in site supervision or assistant management, ideally on external works or rendering projects

Strong understanding of construction site H&S requirements

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Valid CSCS card (SSSTS or SMSTS desirable)
