A well-established Construction Consultancy who works in multiple sectors and on some of the most exciting projects within the industry, are seeking a Assistant Project Manager to join their well established and thriving team based near London Bridge. They have built a strong reputation over the years and have a significant pipeline of work, specialising in building projects at all stages.
The successful candidate will be joining an organisation founded on the principle of employing the very best people in the industry. All of whom have been responsible for the successful delivery of many high-profile projects in recent years.
About the role:
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work closely with senior project managers to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of construction and property projects. You will gain hands-on experience and play an integral role throughout the project lifecycle—from initial concept to final handover.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the management of project timelines, budgets, and risk registers
* Coordinate and communicate with clients, consultants, and contractors
* Support the preparation of project reports, tender documents, and contract administration
* Attend site meetings and track progress against project milestones
* Ensure projects are delivered in line with quality, safety, and sustainability standards
* Undertake project-related administrative tasks and help drive continuous improvement
About the requirements:
* Degree in Project Management, Construction, Surveying, or related field
* 1–3 years’ experience in a similar role (placement year experience considered)
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Keen eye for detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
* A collaborative, team-oriented approach
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with MS Project or similar tools is a plus
* Full UK driving licence preferred
About the salary:
Salary is negotiable, dependent on the individuals experience but up to £40,000.
