Assistant Management Accountant (AAT)

GBR Recruitment Ltd, are working exclusively with a leading Steel Construction & Civils company, who deliver bespoke full turn key solutions to various end using clients, recruiting for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant , who is AAT part qualified (working towards being fully qualified) or fully AAT qualified, or CIMA or ACCA.
This role reports into the Head of Finance & carries out a multitude of accounting / finance tasks including the preparation of management accounts, P&L variance analysis inc. anomalies, pre-payments & accruals, balance sheet reconciliation's, reconciling monthly control accounts (inc. bank & inter-company), sales & purchase ledger support, producing weekly & monthly flash reports, plus month end & year end support (inc. audit support).

Assisting in preparation of management accounts.
Preparation, review and analysis of the P&L including variance analysis.
