Job Responsibilities: Assist in sourcing and procuring materials and services required for civil engineering projects.
Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to optimize costs.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of required materials.
Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements and timelines.
Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and analyze market trends.
Prepare and maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data.
Assist in resolving any procurement-related issues that may arise.
Required Qualifications: Proven experience in a purchasing or buyer role, preferably within the civil engineering sector.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
