Assistant Accounts Assistant

Position: Junior Accounts Assistant Location: Glasgow (Hybrid) Salary: £24,000 £26,000 (depending on experience) Are you starting your career in finance and looking to join a fast-moving and supportive environment where you can grow and develop? We re looking for a Junior Accounts Assistant to join a friendly and collaborative finance team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a foundation in finance or accounting, looking to take on more responsibility particularly within accounts payable and gain hands-on experience across various aspects of the finance function. Assisting with weekly and monthly payment runs Helping reconcile supplier statements and resolving invoice queries Assisting the wider finance team with month-end processes and reporting Responding to internal and external finance-related queries Some previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role (placement or internship experience welcome) Good understanding of basic accounting principles Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools You'll gain valuable experience while working with a supportive team in a hybrid setup based in central Glasgow.
